About My Clients
I'm passionate about working with college students and with those that identify as eldest daughters in immigrant families. I dedicate time to guide my clients in exploring their childhood and family dynamics to see how they can balance honoring the important people in their lives while also honoring their authentic self. . Many times, my clients enter sessions with an inner child that has learned to dismiss their own voice. I want to empower my clients and encourage them to use their voice.
My Background and Approach
My approach is to empower my clients in session to use their voices. I teach my clients how to listen to their emotions and utilize them in a way that honors those values. I also equip my clients with effective communication and emotional regulation skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When working with clients, my number one priority is to create a safe space. An important motto for me is that "All narratives are welcome." I come alongside my client in exploring their family history, values, beliefs and emotions. I provide my clients with coping skills and help process my client's past with honesty, empathy, shared empowerment.
