About My Clients

My Background and Approach
Many people see therapy as a one-sided conversation, full of psychobabble and jargon. That is definitely not my style! I want to help you achieve whatever solutions and life changes you are looking for while learning about yourself in new ways. Life is too short to surrender to depression, bad relationship patterns, or let trauma control us. Therapy gives us new tools to deal with life on life’s terms and the benefit of an objective, third-person perspective. We absolutely can be free of emotional pain and find meaning in our lives if we believe change is possible, we want to change, and we are willing to do the work. Therapy is not easy, but it is worth it – and it is definitely easier than what you have already survived. Many clients feel concerned they are not ready to face their problems, and this is completely normal. You will set the pace for your therapy, and this is not a race. We will work together to create an individualized plan that helps you reach your goals.
