My Background and Approach
Seeking therapy takes guts! I don't underestimate the courage it takes to choose to be vulnerable and talk about things that might even be uncomfortable for you to think about. Some of those things may be happening right now, other things may be a part of your past that you're having a hard time moving from. Here, you can finally get a chance to address it. You are the expert on your own story. But allow me to walk even a part of your journey with you, you don't have to do it alone. Allow me to hold space for you, give you coping tools, help you find insight, and move towards a healthier you. Allow your self to go through self discovery that can lead you to self recovery, growth, stability and joy. My approach to therapy is client- focused and trauma informed. I use techniques like Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, among others. I let what's going on for you in general and specifically at each session lead the way.
