Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington

About My Clients

I work with teens (12+) and adults who are struggling with maintaining a healthy mental balance. I support symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, gender dysphoria, as well as working with neurodivergence issues such as symptoms of ADHD and high-functioning autism spectrum disorder. I am a member of the queer community and support all identities.

My Background and Approach

I provide a non-judgmental, empathetic, compassionate safe space, where therapy is designed specifically for the unique individual. I focus on the whole person with support of evidence based approaches. I have my mental health professional (MHP) and child mental health specialist (CMHS) recognition from the state of Washington. I have certificates in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), peer counseling and wrap around with intensive services (WISe). I worked in community mental health for seven years before leaving to start private practice. I worked with children, families and adults.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Therapy should be supportive, fun, and effective. Change can be scary, but it is less scary when you are working with someone who believes in you and can support you in a healthy, creative, and cohesive way. I am originally from Southern California and transplanted to northern Nevada before landing in the PNW with my two sons. I have two cats, two dogs and a snake named "Mojang."
