My Background and Approach
Hello Hello Hello! Therapy with me is a strong blend of a vibrant, humorous, and empathetic personality mixed with strong clinical skills and experience. I believe things like self awareness, accountability, self action, self love, honesty, authenticity, purpose, and fulfillment are some of the most powerful clinical skills a client can develop. As a provider I am rooted in the Existential-Humanistic approach, believing a person connected to their meaning and fulfillment can bring about deeply positive and lasting change. I want to tailor the process your needs and your style as we co-create your therapy. Let's talk about what's happening in the here and now, let's talk about deeper issues or thoughts, lets talk about that random thing you don't know who to bring it up to, and everything in between. I prefer to push past the symptoms to see the person underneath. The healing comes from change; change of behavior, thought, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in an individual finding their strength, purpose, and fulfillment through the therapeutic alliance we will establish together. Someone who is in their purpose is able to thrive, make changes, and even suffer life’s inevitable obstacles in ways that may have previously felt unimaginable. Nietzsche said, “[They] who has a why to live for, can bear almost any how.” Right now I am only able to take private pay clients. There are limited Sliding Scale options, feel free to inquire.
