About My Clients
My Ideal client is ready face themselves with genuineness, authenticity, and compassion. Change occurs when one is willing step outside of themselves from a place of non-judgement, and understanding. One must challenge the negative behavioral patterns, and thoughts they have created for themselves based on memories or projections of themselves from the past. I invite you to let go of those negative projections and step into the present, where the best version of yourself awaits you!
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy combines elements of humanistic, psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients link their past experiences to their current thoughts, feelings and behaviors, with the goal of finding a higher level of balance in their lives. My clients are always awarded the highest degree of respect and non-judgment at all times, as these are the basic components to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Any client willing to engage in the process of non-judgmentally viewing their own circumstances, and challenge themselves to break down the walls they have created will ultimately find success in therapy, and achieve a higher degree of satisfaction/fulfillment in their life while working with me!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a huge believer and advocate in social justice and equality among all people. To me, the rights and beliefs of everyone are important, and I believe that a just and equitable society which benefits all of its members is achievable simply by teaching others to be more empathic to the needs of their fellow person. I am also a huge believer in self-sovereignty and one's ability to dictate the direction of their own life in pursuit of happiness.
