About My Clients
My clinical focus and expertise have been in the areas of trauma treatment, addiction and relationships. I have been specializing in EMDR and yoga for trauma to help my patients get in touch with their bodies and mind through various sensory stimuli and movement. I am very skilled in helping those struggling with addiction to substances or behaviors to find ways to reach remission and stabilize their condition.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and clinical supervisor with more than 16 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field. I have worked in both leadership and direct clinical service positions, inpatient and outpatient settings with populations across the life span. I have experience with a wide range of treatment modalities including but not limited to CBT, DBT, MI, EMDR, EFT, MRT, REBT, experiential therapy (art, movement), psychodynamic psychotherapy etc.
