About My Clients
I support adults and couples who feel stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by trauma, or weighed down by guilt and self-criticism. My ideal clients are curious about their inner world and want to understand why they react the way they do. I especially enjoy helping people deepen self-compassion, strengthen communication, and build more connected relationships rooted in emotional safety.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly ten years of experience, I specialize in supporting adults and couples navigating trauma, relationship stress, burnout, and shifting identities. My background in crisis work and intensive community counseling allows me to meet clients where they are, especially when they feel overwhelmed or stretched thin. I use IFS, CBT, DBT, and MI to help clients understand their patterns, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect with themselves. My training in trauma and personality dynamics helps me support people who’ve spent years people-pleasing, managing family expectations, or carrying emotional burdens alone. Whether you’re navigating a breakup, preparing for a major life transition, or hoping to deepen your relationship, I offer a validating, culturally attuned space to explore what you need. My goal is to help you heal old wounds, gain clarity, and build the emotional tools to create the life and relationships you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is deeply shaped by the belief that everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, respected, and understood. I value compassion, honesty, and curiosity, and I show up in the therapy room with those same values. I’m committed to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, and I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to explore their inner world without judgment. I support LGBTQ+ clients, immigrant families, adult children of narcissistic parents, and anyone navigating complex family expectations. Outside of my work, I stay engaged with community mental health initiatives and education around trauma, boundaries, and emotional wellness. I care deeply about access to quality mental health care and strive to make therapy both approachable and empowering. My goal is to meet clients as whole people, with histories, identities, and lived experiences that matter.
