About My Clients

You might be here right now because you’re feeling tired of the exhaustion and emptiness no one around you can ever see. It goes unnoticed because you've taught yourself how to keep going despite how you feel. So you walk through each day feeling like your cup is nearly dry, with almost no chance to fill it back up again and eventually this leaves us feeling like we've forgotten about ourselves. I'm here to guide you back to you so you can feel your best and give your best to everyone you love.

My Background and Approach

For the first several years of my career I worked with a variety of client from various backgrounds until I eventually found my sweet spot, which is to help women with children who have noticed, through their own parenting experience, that they have their own healing to do. My goal is to help moms who want their kids to grow into happy, healthy adults and make sure they stay securely connected with them along the way. The secret to making sure this goal becomes reality however, is to start with yourself. Together, we'll address anything that stands in your way. Whether that's overwhelming "mom guilt", your own childhood trauma, dealing with a difficult co-parenting dynamic, or wanting to learn everything there is about raising resilient kids. I use a holistic approach, starting with person-centered, that way I can get to know you well. Then we transition to a mindfulness-based CBT approach to tackle those negative thoughts holding you back from accessing your best self.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Respecting people's identity and background is so important to me because it plays such a core role in a person's life experience - and ultimately, as humans, I think we all just want to be loved for our souls and, at the same time, respected for who we are and where we come from. As a hispanic woman, I know what it's like growing up in my cultural dynamic but I also understand that it could be vastly different for other women of the same, or especially different backgrounds. Overall, I have a passionate mission to help women who are mama's because we have one of the biggest jobs on the planet - raising the next generation. And I really just want the next generation to not grow up with too much heavy baggage if we can help it! And because I personally feel like helping today's kids starts with helping their mama's I aim to donate a portion of my income to my local women's nonprofits aimed at supporting survivors of domestic violence.
