About My Clients
I’m for the overthinkers whose nervous systems are at 200% volume. You’re watching others level up while you’re in your room with K-pop on loop, overthinking your existence. I call this the “hot freeze”—so much going on that you can’t do anything. My clients are teens and young adults who feel like a constant disappointment or are stuck in a “buffering phase.” We’re going to laugh as much as we cry, nerd out as superfans, and do the deep work so you can finally start moving again.
My Background and Approach
I am an Assiniboine (Native American) Certified Social Worker. My approach has an Indigenous vibe—a whole-person perspective that integrates the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. We don’t have to "do" the Native-vibe stuff, but the door is open if you are. My main modality is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). If you haven't heard of it, it’s a powerful way to process trauma and "un-stick" the brain. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can slow down and understand your patterns. Whether we are processing deep-seated trauma or navigating the chaos of your 20s, my work is grounded in relational and strengths-based care. We will work together to reduce that 200% volume anxiety, improve how you communicate with those around you, and—most importantly—rebuild trust in yourself. Let’s get you out of the freeze and back into your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is a collaborative journey of reclaiming your power. As an Assiniboine (Native American) woman and a Social Worker, I know your "glitching" or "burnout" isn't a personal failing—it’s often a response to a world not built for your unique nervous system. My practice is rooted in decolonizing mental health; I see the "whole person" through a lens of equity, justice, and deep cultural attunement. I am fiercely committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and LGBTQ+ affirming space. Whether we are discussing intergenerational trauma or the specific stressors of being a person of color, I show up with a spirit of advocacy and change. I don’t sit across from you as a detached clinical observer; I’m a human who values authenticity and transparency. I believe in the power of laughter, the importance of cultural connection, and dismantling the barriers that keep you stuck. Let’s move you out of survival mode and into a life where you can actually breathe.
