About My Clients

I am looking to serve adult clients, especially those who identify as BIPOC, who are seeking treatment for anxiety disorders and trauma processing. I am also interested in helping clients navigate religious trauma and the other effects brought on by high control religions ( I spent most of my life in evangelical Christian churches and deconstructed from my religious beliefs several years ago).

My Background and Approach

I utilize various treatment approaches such as ACT, DBT, and CBT to help clients develop tools to navigate anxiety and trauma related symptoms, such as intrusive thoughts and rumination. I am also trained as a level 1 EMDR therapist.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I view mental health through a feminist/multicultural/liberation lens, in which I believe that mental health issues can be caused by or exacerbated by ongoing societal oppression. I am dedicated to providing a safe place for BIPOC communities who have been previously harmed by the healthcare system. I am allied with the LGBTQ community.
