About My Clients
A lot of my clients come to therapy to work on their relationship challenges, processing unresolved trauma, understanding their triggers and patterns, and working towards their own resiliency and self-love to create meaningful connections and growth. I feel most energized by clients who approach therapy with motivation for growth, openness to sharing their challenges and receiving new insight, as well as a willingness to work collaboratively towards their goals.
My Background and Approach
Training in the Gottman Method and grounded in evidence-based approaches including CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and IFS, I blend a gentle, supportive presence with practical tools that help couples reconnect, resolve conflict, and nurture their relationship. Before becoming a therapist, I earned my Master’s in Special Education from the University of San Diego and spent more than ten years assisting and supporting families of children with diverse learning and developmental needs. I later completed her MA in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating a safe, validating space where individuals and couples feel understood and supported—whether preparing for parenthood, navigating major life transitions, or finding their way back to each other after periods of stress or distance. My passion is assisting people on their journey to growth and meaningful change. I love being invited into people’s unique stories and walk alongside them while they gain new insights, strengthen their relationships, develop resilience and progress towards their goals.
