Victoria Duru is a board-certified nurse practitioner in psychiatry and family medicine with over 15 years of experience. She earned her Master’s in Nursing from Walden University and later worked at a correctional facility in Houston, TX. There, she saw the gap between medical and psychiatric care, which inspired her to pursue a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certificate at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
