About My Clients
My clients come to me with a wide array of stressors, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, childhood trauma, conflicts within their relationships, and identity exploration. No matter what you are dealing with, I strive to create a warm, inviting environment in which all of my clients feel welcome and safe to express their true selves. We will work collaboratively to establish treatment goals and process past experiences and current stressors.
My Background and Approach
I am a Clinical Psychologist with specialized training in trauma, the LGBTQ+ community, and attachment. I received my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL. I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, community mental health, emergency rooms, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. Through these experiences, I have developed an integrated approach to therapy that is rooted in compassion and client-centered philosophies. My therapeutic approach focuses on relationships— with family/friends, our therapeutic relationship, relationships to external systems, and your relationship with yourself. Throughout our sessions, I include other interventions, including EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

I strive to create a therapeutic space that is rooted in equity, compassion, and safety so that individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and cultures can feel welcomed and affirmed.
