About My Clients
You can feel it in your body, in your gut, in that quiet little voice you keep silencing. You know you need to say something. You know that if your loved one were in this exact situation, you’d be cheering them on to say the hard truth, but it feels impossible. I help women like you, women who know something has to change but are stuck on the words. Because some of the most powerful words are also the hardest to say, like: "No", "I’m not okay", "I am okay", "STFU".
My Background and Approach
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is at the heart of my work. EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps you process painful experiences, release limiting beliefs, and create new ways of seeing yourself. Think of it like opening an old filing cabinet where negative beliefs such as "I’m not good enough” or "I am too much" first got stored. EMDR can help us access these memories and replace them with new learning and self-understanding, so that past experiences no longer have a hold on us. I believe authenticity matters and that the best growth happens when we can both be fully ourselves in the room together. Therapy doesn’t have to feel formal or stiff! I'm not one for formalities. Clients often describe me as nurturing, steady and practical—with a little “big sister” energy and a well-placed swear word thrown in to keep things real. No matter what comes up, you can count on me to be unconditionally in your corner every step of the way.
