About My Clients
My clients tend to be self motivated, intelligent and insightful. They enjoy my directness and sarcasm but also feel safe. I only treat individual adults. Some clients get what they need in a short time and others I've been seeing for years. The most popular topic is relationship issues, depression, life transitions and parenting.
My Background and Approach
I've been working as a therapist since 2004 and have worked in many settings with many different types of people. I am direct and I do provide suggestions/feedback. I adapt to what is needed from me in session.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a LGBTQ+ ally and support the Black Lives Matter movement. I am supportive of alternative relationships and lifestyles. Social justice is a very big part of Social Work so it has been a part of my training and practice. Pronouns are She/Her/Hers.
