About My Clients
My background in teaching, behavior analysis, and biological sciences provides a unique set of skills and viewpoints that aid in how I connect with clients and approach therapy. As a therapist, I want to work with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. My therapeutic approach is systemic, meaning that multiple factors of a client’s life will be explored and considered as we tend to the initial reason(s) that have brought a client to therapy.
My Background and Approach
Choosing therapy is a brave decision to make. Desiring change but not knowing where to begin can be a frustrating experience. I want to congratulate you for embracing your personal journey of exploration, growth, and healing through therapy. It is widely believed that participating in therapy is an indication of being weak. I strongly disagree. It is my most profound belief that therapy is a place for strong people who have been doing the best they can with what they have and what they know thus far. My passion is supporting and assisting my clients with beginning to live life fully. I strive to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental, and emotionally safe space for you to identify and address the pain, patterns, or problems weighing you down. For every client that I have the opportunity to partner with, it is my goal to foster hope, offer perspective, and highlight the strengths that are within you.
