About My Clients
I work with individuals coping with anxiety, postpartum adjustment, life transitions and grief & loss. My specialty is in the areas of maternal mental health and helping those that struggle with perfectionistic tendencies, the “not good enough" feeling, the concept of "having it all" & how that affects work-life balance and peace of mind. Together we'll work to undo unhelpful & negative thought patterns and discover the tools and strategies to help you live a more fulfilled and positive life.
My Background and Approach
I have been licensed since 2010 and have been practicing in the field for close to 20 years, in the health care, private practice, and school setting. The PMH-C credential listed by name means I am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Provider and have had several years experience in the field of perinatal/postpartum depression. In addition, I've completed additional coursework with Postpartum Support International to address many of the complex issues new parents encounter in their parenting journey. I believe in starting where my clients are at, exploring what they hope to get out of therapy and working together to create a plan and discover strategies to best help them achieve their goals.
