About My Clients

Are you experiencing distress while navigating transitions alongside loved ones? Feeling alone even when in their company? Feeling unheard even when you are communicating? Are substances, videogames, screens, gambling, etc. increasing conflicts? Seeking therapeutic help is courageous and I hope you will allow me to help guide you and your loved ones' journey of reconnection.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Masters of Art in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark College specializing in addiction recovery. Over the last 5 years I have attained my CGAC-II, CADC-I and QMHP-C credentials while focusing on integrated gambling and gaming treatment. Through a systemic lens, harm reduction and decolonizing approach (continually un/learning) I am passionate about integrating Narrative theory, Internal Family Systems, and SocioEmotional Relational Theory for a broader and culturally-specific understanding of a system and their context. Altogether we will co-create goals, lean on cultural teachings and value resilience to cultivate interdependence within your relationships. I look forward to working with BIPOC, queer, fat-bodied, romantic/platonic friends/(chosen) families and other historically marginalized communities who have experienced trauma and addiction. All races/ethnicities, genders, ability, shape, size, sexual and relational orientations are welcome!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I deeply believe that healing occurs within community and not in isolation. Being a therapist, especially a relational therapist who has witnessed this healing first hand is an honor and privilege. This position also comes with much power and responsibility to our clients and the community we serve. The US was built on systems of oppression, which demands those in the helping fields to take accountability to self-reflect on their own teachings to constantly un-learn and re-learn. I also believe that it is important to acknowledge that the therapy space is a human space and rupture and repair are part of the process due to its relational nature.
