Faith based counseling is grounded on biblical teachings and scriptures, that combines psychological evidenced based practice into your treatment goals. Faith based counseling will provide you with the support you need as you journey through your healing process. You will learn scripturally and clinically how to manage and endure through the many stressors and struggles of life.
My Background and Approach
Education and knowledge is important, but Experience is also valuable. True wisdom comes from above. Your healing isn't something that can be found within the pages of a psychology book. We were all uniquely and divinely created, each possessing our own distinctive personality and temperament, in order to fufill our life mission and purpose. For this very important reason your healing requires guidance from the one who created you. You will not be able to find your healing as some models teach you from within, nor will you find it from the pages of a psychology book, true healing comes from our father (our creator), who desires to have that relationship with you. I use various techniques combined with the guidance of the Holy Spirit (CBT, Person Centered, and Solution Focused therapy) as well as, many other therapeutic models depending on your needs and the guidance of The Holy Spirit. If you are not sure about spiritual beliefs that is ok, all are welcomed.
