About My Clients
I provide Telehealth therapy for adults and young adults in AZ and CO. My clients may be feeling: overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or recovering from painful experiences. They are seeking a supportive, kind space where they can explore experiences without judgment or stereotypes. Together, we work to make sense of these experiences, find meaning, and strengthen connections to themselves or the people they are becoming. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor in Colorado and Arizona. I completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health at Northern Arizona University and my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Psychology at Prescott College. I hold a post-master’s certificate in Equine-Assisted Mental Health from University of Denver. I have specific training in trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR and in mindfulness and attachment-based techniques. I work with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity development, relational concerns and more. My goal is to help clients navigate life transitions, heal from past pain, and reconnect with who they truly are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is important to me to know the culture, people, and issues of clients that I work with. I am passionate about social justice, equity, family systems, and cultural concerns. I understand that identities, culture and mental health cannot be understood separate topics. I use a mix of evidence-based approaches, and multicultural education to work with all clients. While I am inclusive, and aim to create a safe space for all, I find that I especially enjoy working with adults, young adults, womxn and non-binary people of color / people who are racialized.
