About My Clients

Do you feel like you're always the one holding it together for everyone else? Maybe you're exhausted from showing up for others while no one asks how you're doing. I've spent years in the trenches — working directly with people in crisis, staying grounded in hard rooms when everything around me wasn't. I bring that same steadiness into the therapy room. I'm not here for platitudes. I'm here to help you build real tools, face what's actually going on, and start feeling like yourself again.

My Background and Approach

I didn't start in a therapy office — I started doing community case management with people navigating homelessness, crisis, and systems that too often fail the people who need them most. That work put me in some of the hardest rooms imaginable, and it taught me things no textbook could: how to sit with someone in real distress without flinching, how trust gets built slowly and has to be earned, and how meaningful change actually happens — not in theory, but in the messy, specific details of someone's life. I bring that same grounded, steady presence into the therapy room. I'm not interested in handing you platitudes or generic advice. I want to understand what's actually going on for you — the real story, not the polished version — and help you build tools that hold up outside of our sessions, in the middle of your actual life. Whether you're facing anxiety, a major transition, burnout, or just the sense that something needs to change, I'm here to work alongside you, not just talk at

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Outside the therapy room, I'm an animal person through and through — my house is full of cats and dogs, and there's rarely a moment without a paw or a tail in the picture. I think that says a lot about how I show up with people too: patient, warm, and not easily rattled. I'm part of the queer community myself, and that's shaped how I understand identity, belonging, and the courage it takes to show up as yourself in a world that doesn't always make that easy. I bring that same commitment to authenticity into my work with clients. I'm also deeply committed to accessible mental healthcare. My background in community case management showed me firsthand how many people fall through the cracks of a system that wasn't built with them in mind — and that's part of why I do this work the way I do: grounded, direct, and focused on making therapy feel like something that's actually for you, not just something you have access to on paper.
