My focus on intergenerational patterns & emotional expression allows space for understanding your fears, worries, and behaviors so you can make present & future choices that align closely with your wants and needs.
My Background and Approach
No matter what stage in life you're in, my goal is to help you find your strength to speak on your needs and wants in life without fear of being "too much." I recognize the impact that culture, family, and society play into how we operate on a day-to-day basis. My goal is to help you learn how you operate within your own system so that you're able to thrive moving forward, or make an empowered choice to change your system to better suit your needs. I have experience working with teens navigating identity concerns, depression & anxiety as well as working with adults navigating divorce or relationship concerns & career changes. My approach is not to help you cut off your current life & make a new one. My approach focuses on helping you understand your past and present so you can make holistic & empowered choices moving forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Growing up in a Hispanic family, I understand the struggle of carrying the weight of the previous generations on our shoulders. I recognize the internal battle of wanting to be everything for our family while also wanting to be everything for ourselves, too. You are not alone. You are not selfish. You are not "too much." These thoughts clouded my mind for a large part of my adolescence and young adult life. The ability to overcome these clouds and find balance in my history and my future encouraged me to support others in a similar situation. Finding your voice amongst the crowd of others' voices is difficult and exhausting. Don't feel the need to do it alone. If you allow me to, I can join your journey on finding and emboldening the strength that lives inside of you. I truly believe everyone can find their voice at any stage in life; I would be honored to walk alongside you as you seek yours.
