About My Clients
My clients are children, teens, and adults seeking support with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Many are veterans, BIPOC, or members of the LGBTQ+ community looking for a safe, affirming space to heal. Together, we work toward building resilience, improving daily functioning, and fostering hope with a culturally sensitive, evidence-based approach.
My Background and Approach
As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I combine medical expertise with a holistic, person-centered approach. I provide both therapy and medication management through HIPAA-secure telehealth sessions, serving clients across Florida. My approach blends evidence-based treatments with compassion, cultural awareness, and respect for each client’s unique story. I draw on CBT, trauma-informed care, and strength-based practices to help clients move forward. Whether managing medication, learning coping skills, or integrating faith and spirituality when desired, I aim to meet clients where they are and support their journey toward healing. With evening and weekend availability, I strive to make care accessible and flexible for busy lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be inclusive, accessible, and rooted in respect for each person’s lived experience. As a Black PMHNP, I understand the importance of representation and cultural sensitivity in building trust and breaking barriers to care. I believe in meeting people where they are—whether through faith-based perspectives, cultural understanding, or evidence-based practices. My mission is to empower clients to see themselves as capable, worthy, and resilient. Mental health is not just about reducing symptoms; it’s about reclaiming joy, purpose, and connection. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we walk side by side, working toward lasting change and wellness.
