As a clinician I have been perfecting my practice using a variety of modalities that coincide with client needs including but not limited to: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Reframing, Solution-Focused, Narrative, Trauma, Racial Identity, Racialized Trauma, Christian-centered, Faith-based, DBT skills, Couples, Parenting Psychoeducation, IEP (Individual Education Plan) & IAP (Individual Accommodation Plan-504's) Intervention Psychoeducation. In addition to this work, I have over 10 years experience providing support to students receiving Special Education Service, and 504 Plans in K-12 Public school setting as a Licensed School Social Worker and Mental Health Specialist. My goal is for parents and children to leave feeling supported with tools they can use in multiple settings: home, community and school. I am direct, honest and solution focused. Together we'll address the presenting issue/concerns you have and would like support on and create a plan to address them.

I sincerely believe that when a person has the tools and supports, and insight to do better, they can. I encourage my clients to talk about what's important to them, and what's unique about their identity, values and culture. Clients participation and buy-in is necessary in therapy so that growth can happen. My role is to process what's often circulating in your mind, acknowledge what you feel, and challenge you to determine what's getting in the way of necessary changes you need to make in order to thrive.
