I work with adults, adolescents, and couples who feel stuck in painful patterns, overwhelmed by anxiety, or impacted by past experiences that still shape the present. Many appear strong on the outside but feel exhausted inside. Using EMDR and trauma-informed therapy, I help clients safely process difficult experiences, understand themselves more deeply, and reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity, and meaningful connection in their lives and relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families across private practice, community mental health, and school-based settings. My background includes years supporting clients navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I am trained in EMDR and integrate attachment-focused and relational approaches to help clients move beyond coping toward meaningful healing. My work is grounded in creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel understood and supported at their own pace. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck or overwhelmed, and together we work to understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when people are met with compassion, respect, and genuine understanding. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves peace, connection, and the opportunity to heal at their own pace when given the right support and tools. I am passionate about supporting postpartum mothers, individuals healing from trauma and Complex PTSD, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where clients feel safe to show up as their full selves without judgment. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, honoring each client’s unique story while helping them move toward greater clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.
