My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is one that is integrative, and therapy sessions are uniquely tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of my clients. It is always my goal to support my clients through their mental hurdles, but also equip them with coping skills to be used long after therapy has ended.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I made the decision to become a therapist many years ago, because I wanted to help people just like you, who may be suffering in silence from the negative impacts of trauma, ptsd, anxiety/depression and toxic family systems. I understand what it feels like navigating life dealing with these issues, because I've been there. Now I help other people navigate and sort through these complex issues using my integrative approach to therapy; an effective counseling strategy that may include a variety of treatment modalities such as TF-CBT, SFBT, exposure therapy, and mindfulness practices. Treatment modalities used are specifically implemented with my clients goals and preferences in mind. I believe that your life and circumstances are unique to you, and so should your therapy be.
