About My Clients
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, stress, and life transitions. Many are accomplished, thoughtful individuals who have spent years putting others first and are ready to invest in their own well-being. I provide a personalized, collaborative approach that combines careful evaluation, psychotherapy, and medication when appropriate to help you achieve lasting improvement.
My Background and Approach
As a board-certified psychiatrist, I have over a decade of experience caring for adults across a variety of clinical settings, including academic medicine, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and private practice. These experiences have reinforced my belief that effective psychiatric care begins with understanding the whole person—not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate psychotherapy and medication management when appropriate, recognizing that medication is only one part of treatment and is not necessary for everyone. Drawing from psychodynamic principles and evidence-based practices, I work to understand the underlying factors contributing to emotional distress while helping you develop practical strategies for lasting change. My goal is to create a supportive, respectful environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to improve your mental well-being.
