About My Clients
The early years of life are uniquely formative and precious - for little ones and parents alike. Whether your questions are about sleep, challenging behaviors, long-term development, your own adjustments, or something else, we want your family to feel as empowered and happy as possible. My practice, Dear Families, is on a mission to bring research, reflection and emotional support to the many questions that come up for you in early parenthood. Let's talk about your vision.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and endorsed Infant-Family and Early Childhood Specialist with extensive training in early childhood development, neurobiology, and trauma. I am trained and certified in many modalities. Some of the most important examples include: Newborn Behavioral Observation (NBO), Brazelton Touchpoints, Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), Parent-Child Interaction Feeding Scale (NCAST), Dr. Bruce Perry's Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and Reflective Practice Facilitation. I offer the most highly-regarded research to guide you through the parenting maze. I also recognize that no amount of scientific knowledge can prepare you for the ways in which you might be moved by being with your baby. In response, I offer a space for reflection and emotional support to connect your mind and heart. Want to learn more? Visit www.dearfamilies.com or reach out anytime!
