About My Clients
You may look like you have it all together while internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted from carrying everything on your own. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, attachment and relationship wounds, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and hyper-independence. You may understand your patterns but still feel stuck repeating them. Together, we can explore where these patterns come from and help you build a more grounded, authentic relationship with yourself and others.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Diagnostic Privilege (LMHC-D) in New York and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey with specialized training in EMDR therapy. I am also a National certified Counselor (NCC) and a certified hot yoga teacher. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and individualized to each client rather than based on a one-size-fits-all model. I draw from EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, psychodynamic approaches, and somatic and mind-body techniques. Together, we may explore how past experiences shaped your current patterns while also developing practical tools to help you navigate what is happening in your life today. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I believe therapy can include both compassion and accountability, and I will support you while also helping you notice patterns that may no longer be serving you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place where you do not have to minimize, perform, or change parts of yourself in order to feel accepted. My practice is inclusive and welcoming of people across identities, backgrounds, cultures, relationships, and lived experiences. I value authenticity, curiosity, autonomy, and respect for each person's individual experience. I also believe there is no single definition of what a successful life—or successful therapy—should look like. Our work is about identifying what matters to you and helping you build a life and relationships that feel more aligned with your own values.
