About My Clients
Clients who endeavors to engage in self-care and have healthy supports in their life. They perhaps deal with painful events they can't stop thinking about, or even have nightmares that involve said events. This individual may desire to resolve and move on from a loss or traumatic event in their life. We can develop powerful coping skills that are key to self-care. Traumatic events damage the nervous system and can be healed with trauma therapy.
My Background and Approach
I have been in the mental health field for approximately 18 years, I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Business from Penn State University and my Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from LaSalle University. I am a nationally board certified counselor (NCC), a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania, and trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have worked with individuals in settings ranging from inpatient to outpatient. I have been a clinical supervisor since 2016 and am motivated to help people struggling with trauma to come to a place of healing and resolution.
