My Background and Approach
I'm humbled by the work that I do as a Therapist. I take this honor of working with my adult and older adult clients seriously. As an EMDR Trained Therapist, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), I utilize , EMDR Therapy, CBT and Somatic-Based Interventions while working with those diagnosed with Mood Disorders, Chronic Illness, PTSD, C-PTSD, and/or other Trauma related disorders. As a Trained End of Life Doula, I also provide therapeutic supports such as Grief counseling, for those coping with grief due to the loss of a loved one, a chronic and/or terminal illness, in need of and/or receiving Palliative Care and/or End of Life care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the power of resiliency. It is in each and every human being. Therapy can be a great way to process through life's challenges and mental health symptoms. With psychotherapy, I help clients to find their inner-strength and motivation, allowing them to succeed while working together as a team.
