About My Clients

I work with adults navigating anxiety, identity, and relationship challenges, especially those balancing different cultural expectations or life transitions. My clients are often professionals seeking clarity, connection, and self-understanding. As a bilingual therapist (English/Mandarin), I provide a supportive, affirming space for multicultural and LGBTQ+ clients to explore their experiences, strengthen resilience, and move toward a more grounded and authentic life.

My Background and Approach

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade in corporate branding, consulting, and entrepreneurship across the U.S. and Greater China. These experiences allow me to understand the emotional demands of high-achieving environments and the challenges of navigating multiple cultural identities. I specialize in helping adults work through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship or identity concerns. My integrative approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), grounded in a trauma-informed and multicultural lens. I also provide an affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients and those exploring cross-cultural or professional transitions. Clients often describe my style as warm, collaborative, and insightful—balancing empathy with practical tools to foster self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My path to becoming a therapist is deeply personal. Having experienced depression during my teenage years, I understand the feelings of helplessness and despair that can arise—and the impact that mental health support can have. This experience continues to shape my belief in therapy as a space for growth and healing. I also volunteer at a crisis hotline, where I support individuals in moments of distress and strengthen my commitment to help. Beyond my professional work, I am an advocate for nature, animals, and mindful living, values that ground my approach to both life and therapy.
