About My Clients

Life transitions, trauma, loss, and responsibilities can all affect how we view and move about our day. Therapy can be a pause amidst the overwhelm and significantly reduce symptoms stress, depression, and anxiety. My gentle and direct approach can help you access the healing that's already within you and gain tools to start feeling like YOU again.
My Background and Approach
With nearly 10 years of experience providing therapy to adults, parents, and trauma survivors, I'm ready to support you in reflecting and moving through life's transitions. I specialize working with individuals experiencing symptoms of depression or anxiety due to a major life change (ie. pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, grief/loss, immigration, trauma, relationship ending, etc.). I also conduct psychological evaluations for individuals in DC & MD that are applying for asylum, U visa, T visa, VAWA, extreme hardship and cancellation of removal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe our emotions can teach us so much and it's by making space for them that helps us gravitate towards what we need and start distancing ourselves from what we don't. This can get lost when juggling the expected and unexpected practical demands of new responsibilities, roles, or realities. As a mom of two, I know what's it's like to feel like life is moving fast and slow at the same time and love helping others attain a more sustainable and present day to day.
