About My Clients
I work with adults, teens and children navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, and life transitions. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or unsure of what comes next. I welcome neurodivergent clients and those living with OCD or ADHD. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, we'll make space for your experiences, explore what matters to you, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon with a background in both mental health counseling and education. Before becoming a therapist, I worked for years with children, teens, and families in schools, which gives me a practical understanding of developmental needs, learning differences, and IEP/504 supports. My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I also draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Together, we'll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical skills, and identify choices that align with your values. I tailor therapy to each person rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcomes neurodivergent clients. I offer secure telehealth to clients throughout Oregon.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when you feel truly heard, respected, and free to be yourself. You don't need to have the right words or know exactly what you want to change before we begin. I bring warmth, curiosity, a sense of humor, and an honest, conversational style to our sessions. I'll listen without judgment, offer fresh perspectives, and gently challenge you when it may help. I believe people can build meaningful lives even when circumstances are painful or uncertain. Our work isn't about becoming a different person; it's about better understanding yourself, making room for difficult experiences, and moving toward the relationships and life that matter to you. I value authenticity, compassion, and collaboration. My hope is that our work together feels like a genuine partnership, where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow.
