About My Clients
My clients are often teens and young adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves. Many are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or struggles with self-esteem and relationships. They’re looking for a safe, supportive space where they can be heard, understood, and guided toward building coping skills, confidence, and a stronger sense of self. If this sounds like you, you’re not alone — we can work through it together.
My Background and Approach
I am a master’s-level social work student therapist, currently in supervised clinical training, with experience supporting teens and young adults through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and challenges with self-esteem. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based — I believe you already carry resilience within you, and together we’ll build on that to create meaningful change. I integrate practical coping strategies with a supportive space to process emotions, so you can feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life. My goal is to help you walk away from each session feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with tools you can use right away.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be accessible, inclusive, and empowering. As a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and a Student Ambassador with NASW-Michigan, I am dedicated to equity and advocacy in mental health. My professional experience includes working as a school social worker, an education professional, a Title I transition coordinator supporting individuals in prison, and a vocational rehabilitation specialist. These roles have given me a deep understanding of resilience, life transitions, and the unique challenges people face at different stages of life. I value authenticity, compassion, and growth — both in my work with clients and in my own journey. To me, therapy is not just a place for healing, but a space to strengthen your voice, build skills, and create lasting change in your life and community.
