About My Clients
You love each other—but you’re stuck in the same painful cycles. Maybe conflict escalates quickly, or you feel like you’re speaking different emotional languages. Past trauma, cultural or racial differences, or unmet attachment needs may be shaping your dynamic. I help couples like you break old patterns, deepen connection, and build a more grounded, resilient, and emotionally intimate partnership.
My Background and Approach
As a psychotherapist specializing in trauma and relationships, I bring warmth, authenticity, and a deeply relational presence to my work with individuals and couples. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed, somatic, and mindfulness-based practices that honor how the body carries pain and how our histories shape the ways we relate. I use the PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) model to help couples regulate their nervous systems, deepen trust, and build emotional safety. I also specialize in supporting those navigating intercultural and interracial dynamics, offering a culturally responsive space where your full story is seen and honored. My clinical expertise is deeply intertwined with my lived experience as a woman of color and daughter of immigrants, shaping how I understand identity, culture, and healing. This integration allows me to hold space for complexity, resilience, and transformation as you build a stronger foundation for connection and self-discovery.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins when we reconnect with the parts of ourselves that feel most alive, most honest, and most deeply felt. My work is grounded in values like curiosity, courage, and justice—and in a belief that our capacity for feeling is a source of power, not weakness. I’m especially drawn to the space where grief, joy, and desire intersect—the places in us that have been silenced or shamed, yet hold our deepest truths. I see the erotic as a powerful, often overlooked source of truth and vitality—something that helps us return to what is most real, most alive, and most ourselves, especially in a society that too often disconnects us from our cultural roots and the fullness of our being. Outside of therapy, I find restoration in creativity, movement, and in practices that nurture presence and connection. I care deeply about collective liberation and hold space for the complexities of identity, power, and possibility.
