About My Clients
I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma related to their past, present, family, gender/sexuality, or relationships. In our first sessions, we’ll take time to get to know each other and understand how I can best support you. Your treatment plan will be personalized to meet you where you are, and together, we’ll navigate your journey with care, collaboration, and purpose.
My Background and Approach
Life can present us with unexpected challenges—whether through trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, or significant life transitions. These experiences can leave individuals feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or disconnected. What is often overlooked, however, is that healing is not only possible but also permissible. We are allowed to heal and to cultivate balance, stability, and meaning in our lives. My role is to provide a supportive and collaborative environment in which you can explore your experiences, identify patterns, and develop strategies for growth and healing. I am here to assist you along that journey. Therapy is most effective when there is a strong therapeutic alliance. Unfortunately, many individuals leave therapy feeling unheard or even harmed by the process. My philosophy is that therapy must be about you—your story, your needs, and your goals. Choosing a therapist is a personal and important decision, and I encourage you to explore.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a BIPOC therapist, I integrate a grounded, culturally responsive, and clinically informed approach. Through active listening, rapport-building, and the creation of a safe therapeutic space, I strive to foster trust and openness. My approach is rooted in a holistic perspective, drawing from evidence-based methods while maintaining a client-centered focus.
