About My Clients
Often, my client will come to me and feel overwhelmed, stressed, tired, and very often caught in old, familiar cycles in which they feel stuck. Often those cycles may lead to increased anxiety, depression, insomnia, panic, and worry. Furthermore, if my client has previously experienced trauma, that may add another layer to the cycle that we explore. With my help, my clients are often motivated to better understand themselves and make changes that help them break out of old cycles.
My Background and Approach
I have been practicing psychology since 2016, and have owned my own private practice since 2018. I really enjoy helping clients begin to understand their own patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how those patterns may be keeping them "stuck" in order for us to get them "unstuck". I use evidence-based approaches in treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Psychological research has suggested it is impossible to separate the mind from the body, and in order to achieve overall wellness it is essential to treat the whole person. I believe that therapy may not only help with the improvement of mental, but physical health as well. I would love to help you in your journey.
