Therapy is for those seeking diagnosis and treatment for mental health symptoms to make meaning of their life experiences and process trauma. Coaching support is suitable for those who are ready to make sustainable lifestyle changes. All services are client-driven & applicable to navigating the challenges of adulthood at large. Valerie is especially passionate about supporting Latinx folks & women caregivers who seek to be more mindful while raising young children.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that self-care is not selfish, that we benefit from asking ourselves the question, "Does this serve me?" and that our single greatest tool for navigating the beautiful chaos of life lies in our ability to try on new perspectives and build our capacity for flexible thinking in the "grey" rather than black and white. By choosing to make time for ourselves through therapy or supportive coaching work, we are better able to show up in the other domains of our lives.
