About My Clients
My ideal clients are adults who are experiencing relationship challenges or dilemmas, are interested in personal growth, and have diverse intersectional identities that affect their own growth and happiness as well as their relationships. I particularly enjoy working with immigrants, BIPOC, and intercultural, interfaith partners. I also welcome all non-monogamous, open, poly, and non-traditional partnerships.
My Background and Approach
I am a seasoned psychologist with a broad diversity of training and experience. If you are in a complex challenging relationship with yourself, your intimate parter(s), your children, or your parents, my extensive training and experience as a relationship therapist will be of use to you. If your life challenges intersect with your cultural, racial, gender, or sexual identity and your challenges in relationships are based on diversity, oppression, or the interaction between your identity and those of your partner(s), I welcome your referral.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am fiercely committed to social justice work and when I am not being a therapist I volunteer, train, consult, and work with diverse groups on identifying, repairing, and resolving equity, inclusion, and belonging concerns in their personal and professional relationships. I believe that we are spiritual beings living an embodied life and constantly faced with navigating and negotiating our identity in different contexts and relationships. Many of those contexts including our society, country, or world does not allow us to become fully authentic selves so the journey through this lifetime is about exploring and discovering how to embrace who we are with pride, humility, and acceptance of ourselves and others.
