About My Clients

Childhood experiences, and past trauma can shape the person we are today, sometimes in ways that we least expect. Perhaps you’ve felt like you had a good life but had an inkling that something was “missing” or often feeling “not good enough”. Perhaps you continue to find yourself in the same types of draining relationships, and in the same types of communication patterns. Perhaps you continue to find yourself shutting down your emotions or lashing out when dealing with stressful events.

My Background and Approach

As someone who continues to go to therapy myself, I will admit - therapy is hard work. But sometimes, continuing the life we have as is may be even harder. I am with you to untangle the mess. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can explore, laugh, cry, grow and be human. Therapy begins with me learning about your history, your situation, and how your situation has been impacting your life. From there, we work on building trust and safety within the therapy relationship before we begin processing trauma, working out the 'why's, learning coping skills, and ultimately determining how to put the 'how's into effect in order to produce long lasting change.
