About My Clients
We are a trauma informed practice. Our clients may face challenges related to identity, self esteem and self confidence, relationships, and childhood trauma. They may struggle with coping through a difficult transition, regulating their emotions, feeling overwhelmed, or experiencing worries or fears.
My Background and Approach
The therapists at Uche Okolie Counseling specialize in working with the Black and Brown community and the veteran and military community. Our therapists themselves come from these backgrounds so are specially equipped to guide our clients with empathy toward a greater sense of wellbeing. We offer a holistic approach to healing, focusing on both the mind and the body in order to empower you to be more self-aware and build your confidence. We strive to create a safe, secure space where clients can feel comfortable opening up. We hope to empower clients find a better sense of balance so they can live fulfilling, joyful, and authentic lives.
