About My Clients

I help adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, and addiction who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients appear high-functioning but carry deep emotional weight. They're often professionals, caregivers, or creatives seeking more than surface-level solutions. They want to understand the roots of their struggles and experience meaningful change. If you're ready to move beyond survival mode and into a fuller, more grounded version of yourself, we might be a good match.

My Background and Approach

With five years of clinical experience and a strong foundation in trauma and addiction work, I help clients uncover what’s beneath long-standing emotional patterns. My approach is trauma-informed, experiential, and grounded in compassion and clarity. Drawing from brainspotting, DBT, and mindfulness, I support clients in shifting patterns, regulating emotions, and reconnecting with themselves. I’m especially drawn to working with adults who’ve done some therapy before but are ready to go deeper—people who carry complex histories, high-functioning exteriors, and a deep desire to finally feel whole. Therapy with me is collaborative and real—we’ll work at your pace, exploring what healing could look like beyond just coping.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a gay therapist, I believe in the healing power of authenticity, community, and self-acceptance. My work is rooted in the belief that therapy should honor each person's lived experience—especially those from historically marginalized identities. I have extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ communities, including queer couples and transgender individuals navigating identity, transition, and systemic barriers to care. I’ve also worked in carceral settings, providing SUD education and counseling to incarcerated men preparing to become peer counselors. In addition, I’ve contributed to transitional pilot programs supporting formerly incarcerated individuals in accessing gender-affirming care, education, and employment—efforts aimed at addressing structural poverty and reducing recidivism. I bring these values into the therapy room, holding space for justice, liberation, and embodied healing.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
