About My Clients
I have a wide range of experience from working in skilled nursing homes, inpatient hospitals, and correctional facilities to doing community outreach and meeting people in their homes when they're just too sick to seek out help on their own. I've worked with children as young as 5 years old to older adults facing end-of-life challenges. The human experience from start to finish is truly a beautiful experience whether it be a smooth or rocking journey.
My Background and Approach
I primarily am trained in and utilize behavioral techniques like ERP, CBT, DBT, or ACT. Enjoy utilizing Problem-Solving and Solution-Focused therapies, also known as solution-focused brief therapy, where you can improve on identifying the problem in a helpful way and find solutions to overcome that problem, whether that be figuring out what is working and capitalizing on that or finding new solutions that maybe you haven't thought of before. The ultimate goal for my therapy is to learn to radically accept the past so that you can look to the future and find a way to move forward without being distracted by what was.
