About My Clients
I work best with people who want to understand themselves more deeply, not just manage symptoms. You may feel stuck in anxiety, low mood, or relationship patterns that don’t fully make sense. Together, we explore the emotions and experiences underneath these patterns so you can feel more grounded, clear, and able to respond differently in your life and relationships.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through a safe, engaged therapeutic relationship. I work from an emotionally focused, interpersonal lens, drawing on AEDP to help clients access and process emotions in real time rather than only talking about them. I integrate elements of CBT and mindfulness, but the core of my work centers on understanding how past and present relationships shape your internal world. In session, we focus on your lived emotional experience—slowing things down, making sense of patterns, and working through them together. The goal isn’t just insight, but helping you feel and respond differently in a way that creates lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe meaningful change happens in the context of a safe, engaged relationship where you don’t have to face things alone. Therapy isn’t just about insight—it’s about having a different kind of emotional experience with another person, one that helps loosen patterns that were shaped in earlier relationships. My work is grounded in an emotionally focused, interpersonal approach, drawing on AEDP to help you access and process emotions in real time. I integrate CBT and mindfulness when helpful, but the core of therapy is slowing things down, making sense of your experience, and working through it together. As that sense of aloneness shifts, new ways of feeling and responding can begin to take hold in a lasting way.
