I believe in doing what works, not just what’s expected. Working with me means you won’t get a one-size-fits-all, by-the-book approach. I’m not afraid to step outside of tradition, question old rules, and rethink what therapy is supposed to look like. We can get creative, challenge what’s not working, and focus on what’s genuinely helpful for you. Whether that means blending approaches, redefining goals, or throwing out the script entirely.
My Background and Approach
My philosophy is to meet clients where they are at instead of trying to fit them into a specific approach that may not work for them. This means that therapy with me will be tailored to suit your specific needs. As a systemic therapist, I practice through a relational lens. I integrate elements from many different types of therapy in order to meet you where you are at. Therapy can be both depth oriented and pragmatic. Existential and real. I offer up the opportunity for something different. Would you like to go for a walk, a run, or meet out in nature? How about a house call or a quick session at your office before your big presentation? We don’t have to be limited by what has become “normal”. I prioritize your goals and needs above “tradition”.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Maybe you would like to know a little about me. I am a father, husband, son, brother, friend, ally, and most importantly, a human. I am not perfect. I make mistakes and I learn from them. Strength and success are not found in perfection. They are found in asking for help, making mistakes, learning from them, and moving forward.
