Hello, I am Tyishia James. I am a licensed Social Worker in the states of New York and New Jersey. I have over 15 years of experience in the field of Social Services in a variety of capacities including adults, children and families. I completed my undergraduate studies at Long Island University with a major in Sociology and Anthropology and my graduate studies were completed at Queens College where I majored in Urban Studies and at Kean University in New Jersey where I completed my MSW degree.

I understand that trauma can impact an individual’s ability to reach their full potential.
