About My Clients
My clients are often exhausted from overthinking, people-pleasing, masking, and second-guessing themselves. Many are navigating anxiety, childhood trauma, low self-esteem, late-discovered autism, emotional overwhelm, or the unique experience of growing up as a child of immigrants. Together, we uncover the patterns keeping you stuck so you can trust yourself more, feel less stressed, set healthier boundaries, and build relationships that feel reciprocal and authentic.
My Background and Approach
Drawing on advanced training in trauma, attachment-based, and insight-oriented therapy, I help clients understand how past experiences continue to shape their present-day relationships, emotions, and patterns and how to begin getting unstuck. Together, we'll explore the survival strategies & masks that once protected you, strengthen your self-understanding, and develop practical tools that help you worry less, trust yourself more, and show up as you in the world without fear or rejection. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and neurodiversity- gender, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. I integrate both professional and lived experience with autism, ADHD, and high sensitivity, helping clients better understand and work with their unique brains rather than against them. I also have a deep understanding of intergenerational trauma, multicultural identity, and the challenges of being a cycle breaker or child of immigrants navigating multiple worlds. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully themselves. As a Middle Eastern child of immigrants and an AuDHD therapist, I understand how culture, family, identity, and lived experiences shape the way we move through the world. My goal is to create a space where you don't have to explain or minimize parts of yourself to be understood. I believe many of the struggles people bring to therapy make sense given their lives - they're signs that they've spent years adapting to environments, relationships, or expectations that required them to survive. It's about understanding yourself with more compassion and shifting what's no longer working. I'm passionate about breaking cycles of intergenerational trauma and supporting neurodiversity, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, immigrant communities, and social justice. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me outside exploring, hanging out with my cats, or attempting adventures that occasionally end with me falling off a paddleboard.
