About My Clients
I specialize in working with women who have experienced trauma, disordered eating, and/or substance abuse in their lives through the use of EMDR, CBT and DBT therapeutic models. I also enjoy helping individuals struggling with daily life stressors and relationships. Furthermore, I have experience working with adolescents and young adults in navigating life transitions, depression and anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I believe in utilizing mindfulness to help increase your self-regulation skills as we collaboratively work through the difficulties caused by day-to-day life stressors, trauma, disordered eating, mental health and/or substance use issues. I am EMDR trained and will also utilize different modalities such as CBT, DBT and narrative therapy in my approach to treatment. Through the use of EMDR, we can successfully reprocess trauma that continues to negatively impact your life. My hope is for us to work together in processing your past and present to be able to identify barriers to your life goals. I incorporate client-centered and trauma informed approaches in my practice; adjusting therapeutic techniques to meet you where you're at.
