I specialize in working with women who have experienced trauma, disordered eating, and/or substance abuse in their lives. I also enjoy helping individuals and families struggling with daily life stressors and relationships. Furthermore, I have experience working with adolescents and young adults in navigating life transitions, depression and anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I believe in utilizing mindfulness to help increase your self-regulation skills as we collaboratively work through the difficulties caused by day-to-day life stressors, trauma, disordered eating, mental health and/or substance use issues. My hope is for us to work together in processing your past and present to be able to identify barriers to your life goals. I incorporate client-centered and trauma informed approaches in my practice; adjusting therapeutic techniques to meet you where you're at.
